"Express Track - Italian" is a self-study course for business and professional people wanting either to learn from scratch or to brush up their Italian.

The course is witty, varied and entertaining, and teaches not so much business talk as the equally important social language of business and professional life. Each unit in the colourfully presented textbook starts with a dialogue, followed by oral practice, games and enlightening articles in English about Italian life and culture.

The four audio-cassettes provide six hours of listening material, consisting of the dialogues, recorded by a variety of native speakers, and the exercises, which are paused for response or repetition by the learner. The accompanying booklet contains a complete transcript of everything on the cassettes which is not printed in the textbook, plus the solutions to the exercises and a concise grammar summary.
