Un giorno in Italia

"Giorno in Italia" is a beginner's course offering 150-180 hours of study which allow students to progress to an intermediate level.
The course is based on one man's train journey across Italy taking in Milan, Bologna, Florence, Rome, Naples and Sicily. It therefore explores many cultural aspects including art, history, natural beauty, pace of life and incorporates many authentic documents from journalistic and advert-based texts to literary texts. In accordance with this journey the dialogues used in the course cover the many different regional dialects across Italy.
Students are encouraged to work independently of the teacher, wherever possible, whether on their own, in pairs or in small groups.
The course corresponds to levels A1 - B2 outlined in the "Common European Framework of Reference for Language Learning".
